Olympiacos, the only opponent in all the taronja Euroleagues
Valencia Basket will visit the Olympiacos
Piraeus court for the fifth time for a Turkish Airlines Euroleague game (Friday
11, 8:30 p.m., SEF, DAZN). The red and white team is the only rival with which
the taronja team has been met in all its participations in the maximum
continental competition, so the visit to Piraeus has become the only ritual
that will be repeated in the five presences of the Valencia Basket in the
Euroleague. A tradition that began with victory. The Taronja team won
Olympiacos in the 2003-04 season by 69-77 in a game that was played in the
forced exile of Koridallos. Since then, seven defeats in a row against the
Greeks, four in the Fonteta and three in the SEF.
